Best thing about today was seeing a Hummingbird take a break from his fluttering.

A 30 second break where he sat perfectly still on a nearby tree branch.

In those 30 seconds of stillness, we acknowledged each other. We appreciated this 30 second rest, amidst this fast paced life we lead.

And poof we were both off back to our routine of fluttering fast fast fast through our day.

So am finally remodeling my home office and of course my go to person to help me on my crazy journey is my awesome friend Erin Williamson of Design-Crisis. Seriously if you have never checked her out go Right as soon as you are done here!

So anyways, I told her I wanted a pink office, and when I say pink I am not talking barbie pink, or soft pink. I am talking OMG is that Hot pink? WHOA! PINK!

Yea ok maybe just one accent wall with 3 cotton candy walls- because The Mister might one day need to step foot in that room. OH wait yea it is also going to have amazing french doors leading to our currently non-exisitent awesome backyard heaven.

So anyways I tell the amazing Erin about it.. and she tells me how Pink can be awesome but basically also be OH-SO WRONG even faster, and suggests aqua with pops of pink.

and because Erin is Awesome & Amazing at this, shs’s also artistically obsessive with design ( see above mentioned Design Crisis blog) I might just might listen to her. And so my search for Pops of hot pink have started in the form of art. Duh!
